I copied most of the settings from the old to the new router so that I had very little problem getting them all active on the local network and the internet. The end result was a router with all four LAN ports connected and several devices spread over both 2.4G and 5G WiFi networks Setup using the Linksys online method was more complicated but I got it configured easily enough. A few months ago I needed to improve it to give more more features and chose a Linksys WRT3200ACM MU-MIMO that also includes 5GHz WiFi.
I had a Linksys router E1200 with LAN ports and WiFi 2.4 G that worked fine for years.
